FULL MOON, July 2016

As the full moon rolls through Capricorn, we're given some pretty powerful advice. The two of swords, the Lord of Peace, has come to bring attention to our minds, hearts, and Manipura chakra. When I pulled this card, I lost my breath for a moment. The shuffling of the deck felt intense and made my hands shaky. This is a powerful message during turbulent times. We must take time to ourselves. We must think. Mars and Uranus are stirring up big change and anger. It's time for deep breaths and methodical planning. The Lord of Peace asks that, instead of immediate action and reaction, we take time to calculate. We make an intelligent plan, and we execute every step. The Capricorn full moon will help with making every step flawless. We must educate ourselves and align ourselves with educated allies if we want major change. It's time to break free from old paradigms in all aspects of our lives. Do everything you've ever dreamed of. Be someone that, when you look in the mirror, you're blown away. Be who you've always dreamed you wanted to be. Be proud of who you are now! It's time to unite our hearts and our minds and be smart. Great change is in front of us!

Happy New Moon everyone! This cancerian moon moving with Mars and Leo brings us lots of fire power! This month is going to be all about grabbing all opportunities that arise for you. Laziness isn't allowed! You're being given great chances to change the course of your life for the better. You're going to be given every moment you need to set your life on a fulfillment path. It's going to be all up to you whether or not you take these beautiful opportunities and run with them at full speed! The 10 of Swords is all about self inflicting pain. It's easy to feel run down and focus on all of the negatives in your life, but this card is here to remind you to let go. Let go of the past, let go of people who don't want to better your existence, let go of selfishness, let go of the thoughts that make you feel unhappy, let go of depression, let go of anxiety, let go of bad habits. It's time to let go of all your personal swords that you bombard yourself with and think positive. It's time to be in the here and now. Our minds are our most powerful tool. If you believe something to be true, it is! If you believe in yourself, like TRULY believe, you can achieve the supernatural! Knowing that you are full of light is a great way to get out of the darkness. I like to envision myself with a beam of light radiating from my heart, almost like the Care Bears. I'll meditate on this image and watch the beam of light lift me off of this plane and show me that I'm special and can achieve true happiness. What does happiness look like to you? Light a candle and think about what would make you truly happy. Dig deep, go beyond lots of money haha. What would make you excited and full of life? Think about your most happy moments in time. What contributed to that happiness? If there were other people involved, think about what you were doing at that time in your life that contributed to your personal happiness. Were you chasing a dream? Maybe it's time to bring that dream back. Did you have less responsibility? Maybe it's time to sit down and make a plan to balance your responsibilities with fun. The possibilities are endless! It's important not to welcome the Lord of Ruin into your life this month. What you put in motion now will start showing you huge results by October, the next big shift in the cosmos. Your bravery will bring satisfaction.

Summer Solstice!

Summer is officially here! As the sun touches our skin, we feel the celebration of the rays on our body, and now the cards want us to celebrate with our minds as well! The themes this summer revolve around following your destiny, listening to your heart, living your best lives, and leaving darkness in the past. It's as if winter doesn't exist. There's so much light shining on us right now! With the full moon here to cast away everything that no longer serves you aside, the solstice moves in fast as lightening with the love and strength you need to move forward! Standing in the sun for too long will burn you, and as with any card or celebration of good news, we must always remember the path we walked to get here. We can't take for granted the new opportunities coming our way. Keep your eyes open, the new paths presented to you may be hidden in new smiles or thankful partners. This new light might come to you in small forms, but it's opening bigger and bigger doors. It's time to stay positive, and know that you're important. It's summer! Let's party!

Our cups overfloweth! Wow, what a time to be alive! This weekend has brought along great changes. On Saturday the Black Moon left the sign of Libra, where it has lived for the past 9 months, and moved into Scorpio. Our inner reflections and intuition are intense right now. The Black Moon will help us navigate through issues of loss and security. We will be able to dig deeper than before. Along with the Black Moon changing signs, we had a fiery full moon conjunct Mars. This Sagittarian moon brings up issues with honesty and dishonesty, along with our tempers and energy. For those of you feeling all of those intense shifts this weekend, the 9 of Cups must come as a surprise. I know it surprised me! We have all of the answers within us. Today is a good day to reflect on your own personal happiness and what that looks like. Where does it take you? What do you need to change to make it happen? There's going to be many areas of your life that need attention over the next few days. With Mercury stationing direct today, communication with partners will begin to ease and go a little more smoothly, but we're not out of the shadows just yet. The moon brought forward the tides and they are breaking with intensity. Hold off on making any rash decisions until tomorrow. Use the Scorpio Black Moon today to your advantage and really dig deep. Spend today thinking about dominos. When you're happy at work, who does that effect? When your happy at home, how does that make others feel? When your happy with others, how does that make you feel? What are the steps needed to make this happiness a reality? Do you need to share this information with a partner? Today is a great day for meditation and self care. Listening to the Donald Byrd song, "dominos" always helps me. Keep some rose quartz around, or burn your favorite incense. Even better, do it all. Feel your cups overflowing! Feel your life changes bringing you closer to your soul's fulfillment. For many, this card will signify a major step with a loved one. You are nearing the end of a phase, and comfort and joy are the front runners. We'll be seeing a repetitive nature in the astrology as the week continues. Since the new moon and the new year began, when the sun and moon meet in Aries, all within the same week, we have been experiencing some intense changes and emotions. Yesterday the Hermit came forward and told us that everything is happening for personal development and growth. With the astrology leaning into Leo today, it's the perfect day to tell everyone what good has come from all of that. Focus on the development of adventures from yesterday and share share share. It's ok to crave a lot of attention today, let that lion roar! We're on a new path. It started last week and it's a big deal. Universally there are major changes occurring, and our personal changes remind us we are moving and growing organisms in that universe. The Fool is so new that sometimes mistakes occur with thinking everything and everyone is good and nothing bad ever happens. We've come so far since the Second Renaissance, we know that anything bad is making us a better person. Experiencing trauma is hard, but if you find the crystals in the coal you can grow bigger then ever expected. It's easy to dream. It's executing your dreams that can feel scary. As humans we experience every second with more intensity then a lot of other beings. It can feel like a lifetime to make important change happen in our lives. We're on a steady incline. Find small victories today and celebrate with friends. Be bold, be decisive, have an amazing day!

Deep breaths in and deep breaths out. Chinnamasta has been here expanding our minds, and we've been taking extra time to really listen to our intuition. Today can be a day of action for some, and for the rest of us, we still have a bit of reflection and personal growth to accomplish. The moon is very busy for the first half of the day. If there's anything you've been putting off, and I don't mean household chores, today is the day to do it. Today is a day to follow your inner guides and really go for it! Focus on yourself. What makes you happiest? If you don't know how to answer that question, maybe its best that you fly by the seat of your pants today. Don't hold back! All actions are part of your personal development, which is exactly why the Hermit is here. This major arcana card doesn't mean you're going to be refraining from social activities, it just means that what you need to learn no one else can teach you. Some of us will grow by having experiences, and some of us will head right down to our favorite bookstore and buy that book we've been meaning to read. However your style, this day is for you! It's a great day to speak your mind! If Neptune and Uranus really brought along opportunities of change for you yesterday, today is a great day to grab ahold, if you haven't done so already. Embrace balance, love, and light!

We go from a fiery hot day yesterday, to a cooler, calmer sensation today.  For many, heads will be in the clouds, joining the Queen of Swords. The Swords suit is ruled by air bringing along with it a need for meaningful relationships and communication. Activating our throat chakra by eating blueberries/almonds or using naroli and mimosa oils will make communication come from a place of compassion and deep understanding. (Drinking water and carrying blue stones is another great way to harness your throat chakra's energy) The Queen of Thrones of Air is a fierce woman with the ability to take down a giant by herself. She works as a diplomat to achieve her goals, and is a respected, and sometimes feared, leader. With the moon in Cancer, harnessing some of this energy could be tough but worth it if you have a busy day ahead of you. The moon and Venus will square tonight which will throw off the empathic connection you've felt with others all day. Choosing to handle any predicament like this Queen could result in deeper bonds and new excitement. See both sides of every situation or meet at a middle ground somewhere.
